Pack Light. Be Happy.

Natasha and I are packing our lives up into suitcases and we're about to go and discover Korea for a whole year. I decided to start this blog to have a record somewhere of everything we see on the way.

I had an amazing weekend saying bye to all the people that I'll be sad to leave behind; workmates, the roller derby team, university friends and last night it was time to say bye to one of my best friends and her old housemates.  We've both been really spoilt on our lead to up to going, cupcakes, balloons, cards and presents, I feel really lucky.

Now all that's left to do is to stop making lists of things that I need to do before I go and actually get some of these things done.

Top of the list today has been packing, i've found it really hard picking just a few pairs of shoes and I'm still stuck at 10 and vacuum packing has turned out to be my saviour. The title of the post is some advice I was given when i was despairing about my luggage allowance today, but travelling lightly has never been my strong point and I think this is something i really need to work on.

Here's to new beginnings!
