Gyeongju for Chuseok

A couple of weeks ago it was Chuseok, which is Korea's thanksgiving day. This meant a three day holiday for most people, luckily the school was good enough to give me the whole week off. I decided to take my mum and Julie to Gyeongju, which is only a 20 minute train ride from Busan. Nick and I have been before, so you can read more about it here, but here are some of the photos from our day. I love that you can hire bikes so easily there and use them to get lost in ancient observatories, temples and modern theme parks and lakes. It was nice to see it at a different time of year. We rounded off our relaxin sightseeing day on the train home with a snack of Gyeongju bread. Nick and I then went to meet our friends at a beach party on Dadaepo beach.
